About Us...

Hello!  Our names are Edwin Blackwood and Doug Cross

We are the owners of The Island Cookie Jar.  We have been employed in the hospitality industry for the past 35 years. During this period we have worked in various establishments and have been involved in the preparation and baking of many homemade products. Previously, we were the owners of a catering company named A Pinch of Seasoning and provided catering to weddings, retirement parties, birthday parties and various other functions. 

Vision for The Island Cookie Jar   

Our vision is to perfect our craft and to customize pastries/desserts etc. for every occasion. To provide homemade goodies, including sugar free, for people who don’t always have the time to do it themselves.
